About ACEO

ACEO, short for Art Cards Editions and Originals, originated on eBay in 2004 and has gained worldwide popularity. The cardinal rule of ACEO cards is their fixed size of 2.5" x 3.5". At Swartzmiller Art, our ACEO cards come with a "magnetic backing" for easy display on your refrigerator, creating unique "fridge art." Alternatively, you can showcase your ACEO paintings using 5" wood display easels, which are available for purchase separately.
Our ACEO paintings are exclusively original and distinct—never prints. Each art card features a DNA signature and date on the front and is signed on the back. For protection, the card is enclosed in a plastic sleeve and often painted on 140# watercolor paper. Most ACEO cards are part of a limited edition of just 10, derived from larger paintings. Additionally, our ACEOs have a meaningful provenance, including a "DNA" signature, a certificate of authenticity, and a studio sticker on the back.
